silver bullet ScreenprintingCorporate Imprints offers full, in-house production screen-printing. This in-house production facility enables us to control production times and product quality. Our production staff has a long and diverse background in all aspects of the industry. Our on-site graphic artist will work closely with you to achieve the look you are seeking. We use top of the line industry inks and materials to ensure quality, long-lasting screen-printed garments.

If you are a marketing or corporate client, we know the importance of your logo and of the rules you have put in place to regulate its usage. We adhere to your corporate standards and use a PMS matching system to mix our inks to your color requirements.

Screen printing can best be described in three different parts:

  1. Pre-press is the process of creating artwork or adapting supplied artwork so that it works with our process and meets your size and color requirements. Printer’s marks including color designations and register marks are applied to the artwork and printed out on film, one color per piece of film. These are called film positives and are kept on file for five years. The digital version of the art is archived on our server.
  2. Screen Prep involves the preparation of the physical screen that is used to print the image on the garment. Cleaned and degreased screens are coated with photosensitive emulsion and exposed to high intensity light through the film positive that was made from your artwork. The screen is then sprayed with a solution that softens the unexposed emulsion and that emulsion is washed away with water. After thorough drying, the screens are mounted on the press and numerous test prints are made until the design is in correct registration.
  3. Printing begins the final stage of the production process. After a garment is printed, it is removed from the press and placed on a conveyor that moves it through a heated dryer. The temperature and belt speed is specific to the type of fabric and the chemical makeup of the ink used. The heat cures and sets the ink into the garment. As it comes out of the dryer it is counted and sorted by size, then folded and boxed for pickup or delivery.

silver bullet EmbroideryIn embroidery, artwork is created or supplied artwork is adapted so that it works with the embroidery process. After the artwork is complete, there is a step called digitizing. Digitizing is a process that determines exactly where every stitch will be located. This can become quite complex if the design is intricate and detailed. Embroidery charges are based on the difficulty of the digitizing process and the amount of stitches in the design.

silver bullet Promotional ProductsFor promotional products, as with screen-printing and embroidery, artwork is created or supplied artwork is adapted so that it works with the printing process used on the specific product. Printing surfaces can vary greatly (glass, ceramic, plastic, vinyl, wood, foam, etc.) and therefore, the printing processes vary also. Part of art preparation is adapting the artwork to the appropriate printing process to be used. We combine our strong local presence with a worldwide selection of promotional products. We have access to thousands of products providing you with endless marketing solutions. We can help you find the right item for your particular need.
